Questions about billing
Is there a setup fee?
No. You pay the monthly plan price and that's it. Onboarding (data import + staff training) is included on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
Do you take a cut of my M-Pesa collections?
No. Tenants pay through your own M-Pesa paybill / shortcode; the money lands in your account directly. Safaricom's standard M-Pesa transaction charge applies to each payment - WhizzRent is not in the money path.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes - upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect on the next billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept for the WhizzRent subscription?
M-Pesa (paybill / STK push) and bank transfer. Annual billing offers a discount - talk to us.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan is genuinely free with no hidden costs or time limits. You get M-Pesa collection, automated invoicing, tenant portal, and mobile app access for up to 5 units. There's no pressure and no credit card required to start.
Is my tenants' data private?
Yes. Tenants belong to your organisation only; we use database-level isolation so other WhizzRent customers cannot read your tenants' data. PII is encrypted at rest, MFA is available for admin accounts, and every sensitive action is audit-logged. See our privacy policy for details.
